Wage Subsidy

Hants County Community Access Network offers 50% wage subsidy - of minimum wage - to employers who agree to hire any of our clients. The wage subsidy program can last for up to 3 months.

We can offer wage subsidy programs to employers as an incentive to hire individuals who will benefit by learning new skills and gaining valuable work experience. It also gives the employer a chance to see what our clients can do!

Workplace Accommodation(s)

Hants County CAN also offers accommodation money for any assistive devices our clients may need to do their job.  Some examples of accommodations we provide are: work boots, gloves, uniforms, hearing aids, assistive technology…such as bigger keyboards or voice recognition software, etc.
