Welcome to Hants County CAN.  We assist people facing barriers to find options, solutions and support to challenge or overcome those barriers.

The relationships we continually develop with clients, other services associations, and with the communities of East and West Hants are the foundation for our work. We encourage you to become familiar with our services; we don't claim to have all the answers, however we will attempt to help you find information to assist and plan, particularly related to persons with disabilites. 

As you will note from the website, we offer employment counselling and an alternative transportation service, both of which have been noted as being significant requirements for the population of persons with disabilities in this area.

We welcome any ideas, questions or comments you wish to share with us. Our efforts are community-based and any input is valuable to ensure that we are meeting the needs of our community.
