VOLUNTEERS NEEDED TO JOIN THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS

The Board of Directors of Hants County Community Access Network and West Hants Dial-a-Ride is seeking new members.

The organization provides supports to individuals with disabilities and/or barriers to access and be included in their community through employment support services and door-to-door accessible transportation.

The Board of Directors meets approximately 6-10 times each year and members will be expected to participate in Board committees as well.  A commitment of 3 hours per month on average is anticipated.

Hants County Community Access Network provides services to individuals seeking employment, to improve their employability skills and/or training, and who require affordable, accessible transportation.

If you live with a disability or barriers/challenges in finding and/or keeping employment or would like to re-train or upgrade your skills please call us or drop in to speak with our Service Navigator or one of our Employment Counsellors.

West Hants Dial-a-Ride provides community-based, door-to-door, pre-booked transportation with priority placed on serving persons with disabilitiies, seniors, and the transportation disadvantaged.

We welcome any ideas, questions or comments you wish to share with us. Our efforts are community-based and focussed on building an inclusive community. Any input is valuable to ensure that we are meeting the needs of our community.
